One of the questions that comes up over and over is just how big is a 1.50ct diamond, or how does a 2ct. round diamond compare to a 2ct. emerald cut diamond? Unfortunately there is no one size answer since every diamond and gemstone is cut to bring out the maximum beauty and fire, and this can change the dimensions from stone to stone.
What we can do is give you a best estimate based on some basic rules of thumb when it comes to diamond cutting. All you need to do is download our pdf file [ Diamonds Shown in Actual Size ] and print it out on your printer. While these may not always be exact sizes, they will give you a very good idea of what you can expect when you are looking at the various size diamonds.
Our chart currently shows round, princess, oval, emerald, marquise, and pear cut diamonds from .25ct to 5ct in size.
