Zinfandel

The RB9 Zinfandel is Matt’s second design to feature his patent pending WaveLock© cap system. This remarkable achievement features chrome balls pressure fit into a titanium ring on the cap, which intersect with grooves in the body of the pen to secure the cap both open and when posted. An internal spring plunger powers the locking system between balls and grooves; it works beautifully, it is easy to use, and it will last several lifetimes.

This pen also features our spring-hinged clip, precision molded (not cast) from surgical stainless steel and inlaid with a natural gemstone in an 18K bezel. 

The materials that we use on the Zinfandel include titanium, ebonite, exotic hardwoods, hand-forged mokume and damascus, stainless steel, sterling silver and gold among others. Each piece is an extraordinary writing tool – built to the highest standards, made from the finest materials, designed for your hand on a daily basis.

Each piece is part of a numbered limited edition, with a serial number engraved on the inside of the cap. Shipped in our fine wooden box with a Certificate of Authenticity.
